With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephen Gurney of North Mankato, Minnesota, born in Palatka, Florida, who passed away on October 9, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Gurney and Elizabeth Gurney (Brech); his wife Linda Sue Brunick; his brothers, Dennis, John and Terrance Gurney; and his in-laws, Orville and Janice Brunick.
He is survived by: his children, Reese Gurney (Bernadette) of Oceanside, CA and Sara Long (Brian) of North Mankato, MN; his grandchildren, Tony Perry (Erin), Rebecca Cope (Matthew), Hudson Long and Scout Long; his daughters, Tianka Pharaoh and Jeri Kay Coleman; his siblings, Doug Gurney (Lynn) of Yankton, SD, Linda Gilles (Mike) of Vancouver, WA, Marcia Gurney of Menomonee, WI and Sandy Spanos (Phil) of Mitchell, SD; and his nieces and nephews, Amy Jo, Michael, Mandy, Cody, Alicia, Brook, Christie, Heather, Nate, Tyler, Josh, Micha and Zach.
