She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Simmet and Minnie Simmet (Mueller); and her husband Earl Baker. She is survived by: her children, Dianne Oachs (Woody) of North Mankato, Jeff Baker (Gigie) of Stafford, Virginia, Nancy Tatarak (Jon) of Sequim, Washington and Jim (Michelle Ralston-Goodsell) of Good Thunder. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
