It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Ruth Madson of North Mankato, Minnesota, born in Faulkton, South Dakota, who passed away on July 28, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Walter J. Schmidt; her daughter Amy Madson of Milwaukee, WI; and her sister Dorothy Buyert of Stone Mountain, GA.. She is survived by: her mother-in-law Margaret Schmidt (Mayer); her husband Andrew Madson of North Mankato, MN; her son Douglas Madson of Treasure Island, FL; her brother-in-law Arlin Buyert of Leawood, KS; her niece Beth Spears (Buyert) of Decatur, GA; and her nephew Matthew Buyert of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews on the Madson side of her family.
