He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Kopp and Clara Kopp (Weltsch); his former wife Violet Weese; and his sisters, Gladys O'Rear (Dalton), Marilyn Schmidt (George) and Elizabeth Karnowski.
He is survived by: his children, John Kopp of Mankato and Ann Marie Kopp of Rosemount; his wife Leola Sontag of North Mankato; and his stepchild Drs. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
