He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Peters and Alice Peters; and his wife Dee Peters. He is survived by: his daughters, Alicia Peters (Nick Campbell) and Andrea Swenson (Stuart Swenson); his grandchildren, Lydia Peters and Landon Swenson; and his close friend Dee Sweat.
The family insists that people make donations in support of the Veterans Association in lieu of sending flowers.
