She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Hedges and Susan Hedges; her husband Clarence Askeland; her daughters, Mary Sue Askeland and Joni Bohning; her grandson Tyler Fell; her daughter-in-law Mary M Askeland; and her siblings, Marvel Jiminez and Charles Hedges.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Askeland of Mankato, MN, James Askeland (Roseann) of Jonesboro, AR and Wendy Fell (John) of Mankato, MN; her son-in-law Bruce Bohning of Worthington, MN; and her grandchildren, Per Askeland of East Lansing, MI, Erika Ingalls (Chris) of Jonesboro, AR, Rachel Klasky (Wes) of Jonesboro, AR, Ryan Singleton (Marisha) of Jonesboro, AR, Jennifer Chelstrom (Adam) of North Mankato, MN and Travis Fell (Amy) of Cedar Rapids, IA. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mankato Mortuary (1001 N Riverfront Dr, Mankato, MN 56001). A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
