He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Tennant (Jamie Derry) of Mankato and Teresa Vaubel (Scott) of St. James; his grandchildren, Danyelle, Amanda, Kimberly, Andrew, Alex, Dylan and Cole; his great grandchild Alana; and his siblings, William Compton, Gordan Compton (Theresa), Sharon Hewitt (Gary), Beverly Marquardt, Marcia Pugh, Nadine Gatewood (Mike) and Wayne Compton (Angela). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
