He is survived by: his wife Stacie Holland; his children, Joshua of North Mankato, Shayla (Diante) of St. Paul and Nicholas of North Mankato; and his siblings, Dawn Nazarenus (Dave), Denise Osborn (Jerry), Dora Cook (Butch), Darla Remus (Joe), Nellie Wersal (Steve), Rick Cook (Paula), Doug Cook (Melanie), Annie Huisman (Darren) and Jason Cook (Michelle).
He received the Oscar Sorbel hometown hero award for his years of volunteer contributions to the Madelia Community.
