George R. Motto Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George R. Motto of North Mankato, Minnesota, who passed away on March 5, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Motto and Marjorie Motto (Higgins); his brother James Motto; his daughter Sandra Motto; and his grandson Matt Barr.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Motto; his children, George Motto (Barb Lyons), Wendy Wachtel (Mike) and Jessica Hughes (Daniel Jensen); his grandchildren, Melissa Allen (Levi), Michelle Reynolds, Jen Barr, Brittany Unzeitig (Matt) and Madison Akemann (Sam); and his children, Tait Akemann, Ellie Hughes and Greyson Hughes. He is also survived by 9 great -grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Northview - North Mankato Mortuary (2060 Commerce Dr, North Mankato, MN 56003). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to go to the family.
