He is survived by: his parents, John Harrenstein and Angelyn Harrenstein; his siblings, Nora, Hattie and John of North Mankato; his grandparents, Douglas, Dorothy Harrenstein of Clear Lake, Iowa, Mark Gargano and Tammy Ireland of Fort Dodge, Iowa; and his great-grandparent LeRoy Husske. He is also survived by many Uncles, Aunts, Cousins.

Memorials may be directed to the family, the Ronald McDonald House Upper Midwest, or the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation.
