Owens of North Mankato, Minnesota, born in White River, South Dakota, whose life came to an end on September 11, 2024 at the age of 91, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Hackbarth and Emma Hackbarth (Roeder); her husband Milton Owens; her sisters, Charlotte Hackbarth and Rachel Seebach; her brothers-in-law, John Schibbelhut and Carl Seebach; and her brothers, Phil (Maisie Owens) and Hugh (Joan Owens).
She is survived by: her daughter Deb; her son-in-law Dave Walz of St. Augusta, MN; her daughter Gwen; her son-in-law Torey Statlander of Owatonna, MN; her son Joel; her daughter-in-law Shannon Owens of Osceola, IN; her grandchildren, Alec Walz (Sarah), Allison Walters (Aaron), Megan Ostermann (Ryan), Madeline Kottke (Caleb), Owen Statlander (Taylor), Ella Owens and Emmie Owens; her great grandchildren, Maren, Laina, Bryn Ostermann, Bauer Walters, Gideon, August, Emmeline Walz, Paislee, Jameson Kottke, Lyla and Cooper Statlander; and her siblings, Art Hackbarth (Judy), Hilbert Hackbarth, Fritz Hackbarth (Rhonda), Lydia Schibbelhut, Grace Anderson and Lois Frieling (Wouter). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
