Elizabeth Marie Stenger Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Marie Stenger of North Mankato, Minnesota, who passed away on February 23, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick Shields and Gertrude Shields; her husband John; and her brothers, William Shields (Helen), Thomas Shields and Joseph Shields.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Moore, Joseph Stenger (Louanne), David Stenger (Deborah), Mary Anne Romeo (Joseph), Paul Stenger and Gerard Stenger (Jeanine Joseph); and her sister-in-law Marge Shields. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (525 Grant Ave, North Mankato, MN 56003). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
