It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Collins David Rief Jr. of North Mankato, Minnesota, who passed away on March 30, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Collins Sr. Rief and Ardis Rief (Peterson); his son Nicholas Rief; his siblings, Michael, Timothy Rief, LuAnn Rief, Cheryl Gruenhagen and Grace Kloos; his siblings-in-law, Douglas Kloos and Terry Huggins; his niece Amanda Rief; and his great-nephew William Luecke (Pandora).
He is survived by: his daughter Sarah Sullivan (Matthew); his grandsons, Gerald and Gary; his sons, Keith Rief (Kimberly) and Matthew Rief; his siblings, Stephen Rief (Connie), Christopher Rief, Patrick Rief and Brenda Efta (Charles); his brother-in-law Allen Gruenhagen; and his nephew Ryan Rief. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
