It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Francis Frost Sr. (North Mankato, Minnesota), who passed away on April 10, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Frost and Delphia Brandenburg Frost; his significant other Katherine Mary Thro (Kay); his daughter Ann Frost Sobraske; his sons-in-law, Ed Sobraske and Rick Iverson; and his brothers, Paul, Creighton and Frederick Frost.
He is survived by: his father-in-law Cliff Thro; his children, Chuck, Jr. (Diane) of Mankato, Steve Frost of Mahtomedi, Mark (Jennifer) of Mankato, Rick of North Mankato, Mary Summer Frost of Lexington, KY, Kathy Iverson Giddings (Mark) of Aiken, Jane Burgan (Eric) of Kirkland, WA, Chris of Prior Lake and Elizabeth Vaage (Martin) of Savage; his sister Lucetta Lauber (Lester) of Louisa, VA; and his grandchildren, Tom Reuter (Myra), Michele Plank (Sean), Daniel Frost, Logan Frost, Cora True-Frost (Jim), Andrea Frost, Ben Sobraske (Tiffany), Chris Sobraske (Molly), Tony Frost (Lori), Tyler Frost (Jelena Tarbuk), Nick Frost (Nicole), Joe Frost, Kim Frost, Scott Hiniker (Keiko), Brenna Iverson, Riki Iverson, Matthew Frost (Savannah), Kayla Poppen (Dana), Amanda Geving (Nathan), Kate Burgan, Nicole Burgan, Nicholas Vaage and Kathryn Vaage. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
Due to the current pandemic Mass of Christian burial and celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the: Alzheimer's Association- Minnesota chapter or Mankato Area Catholic Schools.
