She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruben Peterson and Emma M. Peterson (Tillman); her husband Howard A. Gillson; her son Forrest Gillson; her grandson Scott Wilhelm; and her siblings, Quentin Peterson, Russell Peterson, Clinton Peterson and Bernice Bluhm.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Swanson (Ron) of Mankato and Laurie Wilhelm (Skip) of North Mankato; and her daughter-in-law Norrie Thomas-Gillson of Plymouth. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
