He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmet Hughes and Dorothy Hughes (Green). He is survived by: his wife Jody; his siblings, Kathy Sandberg (Nalani McCutcheon), Robert Hughes (Jodie) and Chuck Hughes (Joni); his children, Kaija Youngner (Eric) and Nicholas Wilson (Dani); and his grandchildren, Amelie, Linden, Emmet and Sophie.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Grandstrand Funeral Home & Cremation Service - North Branch (6580 Main St, North Branch, MN 55056).
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are preferred.
