He is survived by: his husband Bradley Larson of North Branch; his children, Grace Thompson of New York, Jay Thompson of Duluth and Kristin Larson of North Branch; his grandson Parker Larson of North Branch; his siblings, Bill Thompson (Lorie), Sue Cassem (Grant) of South Carolina, Patty Kovitz (Lou) of Seattle, WA, Sara Wacek (George) of Owatonna and Katie Holzerland (Scott) of Owatonna; and his pet Gizmo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
