We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2021, at the age of 72, Steven M. Schmidt of North Branch, Minnesota, born in Rush City, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Schmidt and Esther Schmidt (Howard). He is survived by: his wife Therese Salwasser; his daughters, Anna Schmidt of Salem, N. C. and Katie Russel of France; his brother Fred Schmidt (Dee Dee Magnuson) of St. Paul; his grandson Marshall Hildreth; and his stepchildren, Damon Murray of Hastings, Janel Watts of Hastings and Amy Murray of West St. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to the donor's favorite charity.
