He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Rose; and his grandson Monte. He is survived by: his wife Linda "Lolly"; his children, Shaunna Kidd, Bill (Kelly), Chelsie Woyak (Doug), Dominic "Dom" Faerber (Taylor) and Daniel "Danny" Faeber; his grandchildren, Steve Schmidt (Will Alt), Kassanndra Schmidt, Jalinna Kidd, Krimson, Khloe, Kooper Kronsberg, Landon Faeber, Abel Faeber and Ryder Woyak; his nephew Christopher Cotter; and his siblings, Alida, Tanya, Claudette, Kathy and Phillip. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made out to Steve's family.
