He was predeceased by: his father Henry Fonnest; his siblings, Janice Miller (Fonnest), Daniel Fonnest and Reid Barnt; his grandson Casey Hoops; and his mother Anna Fonnest (Iler).
He is survived by: his spouse Gail Fonnest (Alar); his children, Steven Fonnest II (Linnea), Michelle (Fonnest) and Heath Fonnest; his grandchild Finn Fonnest; his children, Emma, Brady Hoops, Tyra, Jordan and Aidan Fonnest; and his brothers, Henry Fonnest Jr. and Ted Fonnest. He is also survived by his family and friends.
