With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roland Thomson of North Branch, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 9, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernest Thomson and Libby Thomson (Lee); his wife Patricia Gilsrud of John's Lutheran Church; his daughters, Sherrie Widell (Russell Jr.), Constance Cook (Michael) and Sandra Stewart (Tim); his siblings, Marlow (Ruth) and Erla; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Daniel, Heather, Russell III, Robin, Bob, Amanda, Michele, Patrick and Elizabeth. He was also cherished by 13 great-grandchildren and by many other relatives and friends.
