She was predeceased by: her husband William Lewis; her parents, William Haws and Julia Haws (Welsh); her siblings, Terry (Kathleen), Beverly (Red), Dan, Tom, Larry and Erin Clark (John); and her brother-in-law Jerry Lewis (Joyce).

She is survived by: her sister Letitia Peterson (Charles); her sisters-in-law, Mary Louise Haws, Joan Haws, Faith Haws and LuAnn Cavanagh (Bob); her children, Ross Lewis, Lu Ann Mangan, Todd Lewis (Rene), Sue Lewis, Nancy Dobbins and Tom Lewis (Robin); her grandchildren, William Mangan, Kathryn Nyquist (Christopher), Ashley Walter (Kody), Ryan Lewis (Allison), David Dobbins and Ellen Dobbins; and her great grandchildren, Elijah Nyquist, Cade Nyquist, Lane Nyquist, Olivia Newman and Tristan Walter. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

“I am so sorry to hear of Mary's passing. Mary and I spent many hours driving between North Branch and Taylor's Falls, where we worked together at the school. Mary was like my second Mother and I really enjoyed getting to know her and her wonderful family. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.”
