She was predeceased by: her parents, James Armstrong and Anna Armstrong (Johnson). She is survived by: her husband Alden Whitman; her children, Dennis Whitman, Judy Nelson, Harry Whitman (Marcia), Anna Marchand (Jeff) and Penny Sibik (Dean); and her siblings, Margret Alhstrom and Richard Armstrong. She is also survived by her 18 grandchildren, many great grandchildren.
