He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Zentner and Evelena "Hemmie" Zentner (Blanchard); his wife Kathy; and his sisters, Darlene "Toby" Pulju (Melvin), Donna Harsha and Arlis Kern (Dave).

He is survived by: his children, Lester (Pam) of North Branch, Douglas (Pam) of Princeton, Michelle (Scott) of Forney and Lisa (Dave) of North Branch; his grandchildren, David Zentner (Amy), Amanda Noaeill (Richard), Joseph Zentner, Jerad Ehrnriter (Sarah), Randi Kittelson (Andy), Brittany Lindstrom, Megan Ehrnriter, Ashley Valentin (Jeremy), Douglas Zentner, Ryan Zentner (Mary), Conor Fortuna and Chloe Fortuna; his sister Connie Johnson (Carl) of St. Michael; and his siblings-in-law, Dick Harsha of Park Rapids, Doug Spencer (Joan) of Fargo and Bernadette Lipkin of North Carolina. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
