She was predeceased by: her father Gerald "Jerry"; and her parents-in-law, Don and Lorraine Stieper. She is survived by: her husband Dave; her sister Kari Windorpski (Brian); her mother Sharon Godfrey; and her siblings-in-law, Carole Rinder (Elliott), Diane Wilzbacher (Tom), Kathy Vos (Shane) and Rick Stieper. She is also survived by many loving uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Animal Humane Society.
