She was predeceased by: her parents, James McKay and Alice McKay (Nelson); her husband Paul Irwin; her son Pat McKay; and her siblings, Joyce Borgen and Gary McKay.
She is survived by: her children, Alice Nystrom (Charles) of North Branch and Bradley McKay of Finlayson; her grandchildren, Morerella McKay, Brandon McKay, Andy Nystrom, Nolan Nystrom, Emma McKay and Andon McKay; her great grandchildren, Sabrina Grimm, Zaric Grimm and Mia McKay; and her siblings, Donnie McKay (Mary) of Baudette and Kathleen Laffin of Baudette.
