He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Nelson and Hilda Nelson (West); his half-sisters, Mildred, Doris and Hilma; and his nephew Mark Polley.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene; his children, Debbie Cole (Mark), Michael Nelson (Angelo Lucco) and Laurie Hamann (Steve); and his grandchildren, Allen Cole (Kate), Leah Hanson (John), Amanda Kohlbeck (Tony), Amy Cole (Sam), Jonathan Nelson (Becky), Lucas Hamann (Laura) and Nathan Hamann (Kelli). He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
