He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Unnasch and Ruby Unnasch (Radtke); and his sisters, Lorraine Heyer (Harvey) and La Vonne Moldenhauer (Arthur). He is survived by: his wife Sandra Papenfuss; his children, Rev. John Unnasch (Janet) of La Crescent, Mary Jones (Robert) of El Cajon, CA and Rev. Peter Unnasch (Tracy) of Milwaukee; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Hildenbrand of Muskego, WI, Josie Bartelt (Brian) of Onalaska, Jessica Kveen (Tim) of Lisbon, WI, Justin Jones (Dawn) of Kansas City, MO, Naomi Hefti (David) of Sturtevant, WI, Sam Unnasch (Kella) of Cudahy, WI and Paul Unnasch of Eau Claire, WI. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. John's Lutheran Church, Luther High School, Valley View Healthcare & Rehab, St. Croix Hospice, or the organization of one's choice.
