We are sad to announce that on July 23, 2020, at the age of 66, Kandy Sonnek of Nodine, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Drossel and Lois Kruger (Weldon); her brother Gary Drossel; her mother-in-law Betty Jean Sonnek; her stepfather Richard Kruger; and her siblings-in-law, Jon Sonnek, Andrew Sonnek and Ruth Ann Sonnek.
She is survived by: her husband Charles "Rick" Sonnek; her children, Jessica Sonnek (Trevor Buswell), Jaime Duffy (Tom) and Jacob Sonnek; her grandchildren, Alexia Sonnek, Dustin Sonnek, Dominic Buswell, Austin Marie Sonnek, Max Sonnek, Bryce Duffy and Kennette Duffy; her siblings, Kevin Drossel (Lynn), Denise Gilleland (Rick) and Diana Hansen (Jim); her father-in-law Charles Dominic Sonnek; and her siblings-in-law, Tim Sonnek (Barb), Beth Thompson (John), Amy Adams (Dave), Steve Sonnek (Vonnie), Chris Sonnek (Karen), Kellen Sonnek (Liwan), Perry Sonnek, Joy Sonnek, Sara Sonnek, Peter Sonnek (Lori), Anthony Sonnek (Brenda) and Matt Sonnek (Senita Rose). She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
