He was predeceased by: his parents, Ford Hollister and Lela Hollister; and his siblings, Harold, Elsie Ramsden and Edna Hollister.
He is survived by: his wife Videll Syverson; his children, Lon (Esther), Wade (Vickie) and Sherri; his grandchildren, Corey (Monica), Cody Hollister (Jeannie), Karla Filibeck (Ryan) and Kya Henningson (Cory); his great grandchildren, Maleah, Zarah, Willow and Haven Hollister; his grandchildren, Nova, Creelyn, Oakley Hollister, Amalie, Talia Filibeck, Logan and Lincoln Picha; and his sister Blanche Fout of Hampton, VA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
