He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Esler; his parents, Jacob Weiss and Anna Weiss (Weber); his son-in-law Jerry Gravelle; and his brothers, Eugene and LeRoy.
He is survived by: his daughter Jody (Gravelle); his grandchildren, Nicole Weiss, Randy Dahl (Sadie Ramirez) and Mitchell Aguirre; his great grandchildren, McKenzie Kooiman, Raeannin Ramirez, Dahl, Leeila, Jean Stauffer, A. J. Ramirez, Novalee Stauffer and Loki Michael Scott Aguirre; his stepchildren, Bob Esler (Penny), Ed Esler (Lori), Todd Syrdal (Gail) and Marilyn Davis; and his daughter-in-law Darlene Cournoyer. He is also survived by many other extended family and friends.
