He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrose Lauer and Clara Lauer (Abfalter); and his brother Ronnie Lauer. He is survived by: his former wife Deborah Nieters; his wife Deb; his children, Lee Lauer (Sara), Paul Lauer (Megan), Linda Nouis (Roy), John Lauer (Sarah) and Jill Lauer (Wade Christopherson); and his sisters, Marlene Determan (John) and Linda Martini. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
