He is survived by: his parents, Tara of Nisswa and Steve (Lynda) of Brainerd; his siblings, Madeline (Jimmy) and Christopher; his stepsister Elizabeth; his grandparents, Royal Karels, Diane Karels, Jim Brandon, Bonnie Brandon, Lynn Peterson and Joannie Peterson; and his great-grandparents, Gladys Peters, Deloris Benson and Bob Donner. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
