He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Schreiner and Dorothy Schreiner (Spainhower); his wife Nancy Preble; his brothers, Lawrence and Jerome; his siblings-in-law, Janice Preble, Frances and Lyle Preble; and his pets, Penny and Ernie.
He is survived by: his sister Beverly Cashman (Mike); his children, David Schreiner (Lenna) of Tripp, SD, Janet Mattern (Arlen) and Dean Schreiner (Sarah) of Maple Grove; and his grandsons, Eric, Travis and Michael. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and extended family.
Memorials preferred to Lutheran Church of the Cross, Nisswa.
