As Thomas departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Thomas. Though Thomas may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his brother Jim Schroeder; his parents-in-law, John and Marilynn Schmit; and his parents, Willy Schroeder and Rosa Schroeder (Hermel).
He is survived by: his wife Lois Schmit; his son Matthew Schroeder (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, William, Anthony, Ryleigh and Zackary; and his sister Linette Roberts (Marv). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church (604 Main St, Nicollet, MN 56074). A memorial service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
