It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Kastens (Nicollet, Minnesota), born in New Ulm, Minnesota, who passed away on April 19, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Dean Kastens; his brother Floyd Kastens; and his parents, Edward Kastens and Olga Kastens (Engel). He is survived by: his wife Mary Etta Kastens of Nicollet; his daughters, Shelly Garman (Dan) of Cedar Rapids and Sharon Johnston of Nicollet; and his former wife Mary Etta Grunst. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
