He was predeceased by: his sister-in-law Karen Bode; his nephew Chad Bode; his great-niece Karissa Bode; and his parents, Louis F. Bode and Evelyn D. Bode (Rolloff).
He is survived by: his brothers, Galen Bode (Sharon) of New Ulm and Gary Bode of Courtland; and his close friends, Linda Bode of Nicollet and Judy Bode of Nicollet. He is also survived by his 3 nieces, 3 nephews, 8 great-nieces, 2 great-nephews.
