He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Becky Olson (Bob) of Bloomington, Bonny Zimmerman (Scott Helgeson) of Mahtomedi, Jon Zimmerman (Heidi) of Savage and Joel Zimmerman (Connie) of Nicollet; his sister Marlys Stolt of Florida; his pet Misty; his wife Elaine Zimmerman; his son Timothy Zimmerman; his brother Lyle Zimmerman; his parents, Reinhard Zimmerman and Gertrude Zimmerman (Maas); and also, Tom Bartlett (Bonnie) of St. Peter, Rick Meurer (Mona) and Clete Wenner of St. Peter. He was also cherished by 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
