With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Lee Fredrickson of Nicollet, Minnesota, born in Mankato, Minnesota, who passed away on January 3, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Fredrickson and Gladys Fredrickson (Burnett); his parents-in-law, Edwin and Marie Wussow; and his siblings-in-law, Frederick Wussow and Geraldine Fredrickson.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Fredrickson (Wussow); his children, Mark Fredrickson (Julia) of St. Louis Park, Craig Fredrickson (Beth) of Prior Lake and Michelle "Shelly" Makela (Dave) of Eagle Lake; his grandchildren, Jacob Fredrickson, Kylie Weckwerth, Katie Fredrickson, Matthew Fredrickson, Jadyn Weckwerth and Jack Fredrickson; his brothers, Dale Fredrickson, Doug Fredrickson (Millie) and Charles Fredrickson (Mary); his sister-in-law Mary Ann Stenzel (Larry); his uncle Café; and his friend Restaurant. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Due to the pandemic, a private funeral service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks those wishing to express sympathy to make donations to the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association, or another worthwhile cause.
