Carl Betzing Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 1, 2021, at the age of 98, Carl Betzing of Nicollet, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Pearl Betzing (Horner); his sister Leona Betzing; his sister-in-law Yvonne Betzing; his stepson-in-law Gene Giefer; his grandchildren, Justin Giefer and Heather Giefer; and his parents, Ernest Betzing and Orma Betzing (Smith).
He is survived by: his stepson Ronald Giefer (Donna) of Nicollet; his stepdaughter-in-law Sharon Giefer of Cannon Falls; his grandchildren, Ronald Giefer of Nicollet, Robert Giefer of Orr, Timothy Giefer (Lorie) of New Ulm, Susan Johnson (Kenny) of St. Peter, Daniel Giefer (Lisa) of North Mankato, Jennifer Steffensmeier (Kevin) of Otsego, Jeffrey Giefer (Mickelle) of Hugo and Debra Johnson of Northfield; his great grandchildren, Nicole, Clarissa, Kellen, Kourtney, Kyle, Lexi, Hailey, Zack and Caleb; his great great grandchildren, Aubree and Jacob; and his brother Ernest Betzing of Shreveport, Louisiana. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Social distancing guidelines must be followed, and all guests in attendance at the visitation and Mass will be required to wear a mask.
