It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Duff of Newport, Minnesota, who passed away on November 20, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Bertha; his parents-in-law, Chester and Mariam Schmegal; his sister Lucy Parpart (Roger); his sister-in-law Sheryl Duff; and his niece Melissa Crock.

He is survived by: his wife Penny; his sons, John C. (Beth) and Nicholas (Nicole); his grandchildren, Desmond and Ivy; his siblings, Michael, Laurie Bromen and Dennis; and his brothers-in-law, Paul (Twyla) and Matthew Schmegal (Genine). He is also survived by family members and friends.
