He is survived by: his wife Irmgard; his children, Mary Piehowski (John), Cary Feik (Bruce), Gina Werner and Angela Gardner (Jesse); his grandchildren, Tania Lauby, Kyle Piehowski, Hunter Feik, Hanna Feik and Evan Gardner; his great grandchildren, Garrett Lauby, Sutton Lauby, Reagan Piehowski and Logan Piehowski; and his sister Erika Tümmers (Wolfgang Schneider).
