He was predeceased by: his mother Gloria MacCarthy. He is survived by: his father Robert MacCarthy; his significant other Barbara Jean Perkins Rassett of Newport; his significant other's sons, Ronald (Debbie), Scott (Jodi) and David (Lucy); his grandchildren, Alexandra, Sabrina, Madison, Cameron, Delaney, Joaquin, Evalyse, Cole, Sunshine, Luca, Ashley, Lauren, Stephanie, Kaitlin, Patrick and Justin; and also, Barbara Ann Wickenhauser of Cologne, Mary (Charles), Maggie (Beto), Robert (Melissa) and Joe (Ingrid). He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
