The passing of Dorothy Young of Newport, Minnesota, born in Saint Croix Falls, Wisconsin leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 8, 2024 at the age of 90. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Lundgren and Vera Lundgren (Cranston); her former husband John William Duffert; her husband Raymond Young; her son-in-law Robert Erickson; and her siblings, Douglas Lundgren, Donna Lundgren, Cherilon McKenzie and Bonnie Joy Lundgren.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Graebner (Matthew) and Candy Davis; her stepchildren, Carolyn Schueller (Dan), Sherilyn Young, Ellyn Erickson (Bob) and Raymond Young, III; her grandchildren, David Schueller (Erin), Aaron Schueller, Tania Delehanty (Jack), Lyn Erickson, Natalie Erickson, Shawn Erickson, John Duffert (Marie), Andrew Graebner and Sheri Davis; her great grandchild Steven Mason; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Simone Schueller, Miles Schueller, Sylvie Delehanty and Louis Delehanty; and her sisters, Gloria Nielsen (Mike) and Elizabeth "Betty" Stavrou. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Woodbury Lutheran Church (7380 Afton Rd, Woodbury, MN 55125). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 4:30 PM at the Lakeside Cemetery (5284 292nd St E, Cannon Falls, MN 55065).
Memorials are preferred to Woodbury Lutheran Church Mission to Ashville, North Carolina.
