She was predeceased by: her parents, Nels Conrad Nelson and Bertina Caroline Nelson (Strand); her husband Wallace; her siblings, Marvin Nelson (Avis), Deloris Holten (Albin) and Jerome Nelson; her brothers-in-law, Arnold Peterson and William Olson, Jr.; and also, Richard, Sarah Roppe, Bert (Adeline), Roy (Laura), Thorfen (Lorraine) and Erwin (Alice).
She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Farbo (Curtiss); her grandchildren, Cari Vukmanich (John) and Robby Farbo (Jill); her great grandchildren, Emma, Cora, Johnny Vukmanich, Kale and Kasey Farbo; her siblings, Marian Peterson, Janice Olson, Vernon Nelson (Sheila) and Gary Nelson (Karen); and her sister-in-law Patty Nelson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Saviour's Lutheran Church (2075 US-59, Thief River Falls, MN 56701). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
