It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darleen Chapman of Newfolden, Minnesota, who passed away on June 9, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernhardt Bengtson and Inga Bengtson (Bjorgaard); her husband Raymond; her siblings, Bernice Ueland (Norman), Leonard (Sandra), Arnold (Marge) and Vernon Bengtson (Lois); her siblings-in-law, Leanna Bengtson, Lura Reimnitz (Oscar), Cleo Chapman (Lenore) and Dwight Chapman; her son-in-law James Engelsrud; and her grandsons, Jay and Jon Engelsrud.
She is survived by: her children, DeVere Chapman (Jackie) of Newfolden, MN, Leola Engelsrud of Newfolden, MN and DeAnna Anderson of Newfolden, MN; her grandchildren, Shane Chapman (Stacy), Lori Colling (Scott), Laird Sourdif (Laura), Sarah Lefebvre (Kyle), Kevin Engelsrud and Angel Anderson (Austin Fowler); her great grandchildren, Nicholas Chapman, Emily Wollum (Andrew), Nathan, Anna Colling, Megan, Connor, Evan Lefebvre, Indra, Iona Sourdif, Inga Anderson and Lewis Fowler; her great great grandchildren, Sloan, Talia and Wollum; her brother Lloyd Bengtson; and her sister-in-law Ilene Chapman. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
