He was predeceased by: his parents, Hartvig Hanson and Tena Hanson (Anderson); and his siblings, Carl, Arnie, John, Ralph, Clarence, Ernest Hanson, Adella Hanson and Beulah Bjornrud.
He is survived by: his wife Lilly Lundgren; his children, Brent Hanson (Andrea) of Newfolden, Deb Meyer (Tim) of Welcome, Tami Schneider (Dale), Karla Palkie (Mike) of Garrison, Kari Dembiczak (Kirby) of Halma, Brenda Williams (Ryan) of Barnum and Lynne Mattern (Sean); and his siblings, Earl Hanson (Janice), Floyd Hanson (DeEtta), Alfred Hanson (Dorothy) of Denver, CO and Clara Jacobson (Burlin) of Cottage Grove. He is also survived by twenty-nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
