It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adeline Nelson of Newfolden, Minnesota, born in Grand Forks, North Dakota, who passed away on August 12, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Skyberg and Myrtle Skyberg (Bakken); her husband Floyd Nelson; her children, Darlene and LeRoy August; her grandchildren, Tabitha Nelson and Justin Anderson; her great grandchildren, Heidi Anenson, Kael Knutson and Mason Knutson; and her siblings, Evelyn Johnson, Clarice Trontvet, Elaine Thompson, Shirley Olson, Harvery and Conrad Skyberg.
She is survived by: her children, James Nelson (Lana), Thief and John Nelson (Susan); her grandchildren, Troy, Misty, Kimberly, Angela Mills (Chris), Wendy Nelson, Darlene Riewer (Rich), Teresa Hopke (Jonathan), Amy Green (Milt), Ashley Kendrick (Aaron), LeRoy Jr. Nelson (Haley), Travas Knutson, Tony Knutson, Tyler Knutson (Rhandi), Kassi Redford (Craig), Brandon Nelson (Ashley), Kristina Lambert, Kristen Nelson (Brandon), Bryant Nelson (Pascale), Jessica Kemp (Jeff), Jacob Anderson (Katie) and Jordan Anderson (Jesse); her stepgrandchildren, Chad Swanson (Chas), Carissa Mcdougall, Nicholas Swanson and Joni Ryan (Andy); her siblings, Donnie Skyberg of Moorhead, MN and Rosie Nelson (Marvin); and her siblings-in-law, Milt Nelson (Janice) of Grand Forks, ND and Shirley Johnson (John) of Kenosha, WI. She is also survived by 48 great grandchildren and nine step great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held following all of the CDC and State of MN Covid guidelines on Friday, August 21, 2020 at 2:00 PM at New Hope Church in Newfolden, MN with Reverend Ollie Urdahl officiating.
