With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Tumberg of New York Mills, Minnesota, who passed away on January 5, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Tumberg and Esther Tumberg (Fiskari); his sister Anne Tumberg; and his sister-in-law Bobbi Tumberg. He is survived by: his wife Julie Tumberg of New York Mills; his sons, Nathan Salo Tumberg (Michelle) of Spring Valley and Ricky Tumberg (Rachel) of New York Mills; his granddaughter Catherine Salo-Tumberg (Kit); his siblings, Walter Tumberg of New York Mills, Reuben Tumberg (Ellen) of Sebeka, Kenneth Tumberg (Anna) of Blaine and Mary Aho (John) of Wadena; and his brother-in-law Clifford Tumberg of New York Mills. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and a host of friends.
