He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Lawrence and Iva Gladys Lavalle (Keith); his daughter Alice; and his siblings, Patricia, Clifford, Phyllis and Darlene.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Lavalle of Ottertail, MN; his children, Tony Lavalle (Deb) of St. Cloud, MN, Jacki Allamon (Brad) of Caldwell, TX, Steven Palmer of Fergus Falls, MN and Jonathan Palmer (Amy) of St. Cloud, MN; and his siblings, James, Jacqueline, Steven, David and Dennis. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Open House (110 S Broadway Ave, New York Mills, MN 56567). The military honors will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Karvonen Funeral Home ~ New York (110 S Broadway Ave, New York Mills, MN 56567).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Wounded Warriors.
